About the self-sustainability

After your ship crashed and landed on the blue planet filled with water, you have to find edible creatures or herbs available in the surrounding environment to survive. Not only that, you are able to plant and eat what you harvest. You should know that plantable flora is one of the most important items to a self-sustaining base. Additionally, you can replant them to create an unlimited supply of food, water, and fuel. However, you need to spend a little time to wait until they grow. Fortunately, you can skip that step by sleeping. Head to a narrow bed (crafted with 1 Titanium and 1 Fiber Mesh) and rest before waking up to gather ready plants or fishes for Alien Containment. The Bio Outposts are extremely useful and necessary. Just get up and run it soon!

Indoor Growbed

  • Lantern Tree – It will automatically fill up again.
  • Chinese Potato – You can collect potatoes and place the last piece in the proper position.
  • Marblemelon – You can put down the melon and stab it to turn out 4 seeds. Besides, you are allowed to replant.
  • Bulbo Tree – They look like Marblemelon. You can plant the last sample once more.

Outdoor Growbed

You can learn more information in the Forward Base section.

  • Gel Sac – It is almost identical to Marblemelon. But, it will only provide 3 seeds. Especially, it does not become rotten.
